Mentor Sentence: This week we will be reading Substitute Groundhog by Pat Miller. We will be learning about past tense verbs while reading this book.
Phonics:
The phonics pattern we will be studying this week is the -er.-ir and -ur pattern.

Math:
Math 2.1
We will continue to work on addition with regrouping. We will start to focus on adding 3-digit numbers with regrouping.

Math 2.2
We will continue working on adding with regrouping. We will also start subtracting using different strategies.

Math 3.1
We will start exploring geometric shapes to help solve real world problems.

Social Studies:
We will be continuing our units of famous Americans by studying Jimmy Carter and Juliette Gordon Low.
